Técnica Celular (Mercado Comum do Sul)
1. Técnica que consiste em dividir uma área geográfica em áreas menores denominadas células, a cada uma das quais se atribui um grupo de radiofreqüências, permitindo que as radiofreqüências utilizadas em uma célula possam ser reutilizadas em outras células separadas espacialmente. Uma característica fundamental desta técnica é a de permitir a transferência automática de uma chamada em curso, de modo que as chamadas estabelecidas continuem quando as EM se deslocam de uma célula para outra.
