Cabo horizontal
1. Cabo de transmissão de dados constituído por condutores de cobre eletrolítico sólidos isolados com material termoplástico, torcidos em pares com impedância nominal de 100 Ω, reunidos em um núcleo, com dois ou quatro pares, protegido por uma cobertura termoplástica. O cabo horizontal pode ser utilizado na interligação dos diversos pontos da rede estruturada com a sala de equipamentos (data center), pertencente às categorias 3 a 8, de bitola 22 a 24 AWG. Cabos do tipo cobre cladeado alumínio (CCA) não são permitidos.
