Ganho de uma Antena
1. Relação, expressa em decibéis (dBi), entre a potência que seria fornecida à antena de referência livre de perdas (isto é, a um radiador isotrópico isolado no espaço) e a potência fornecida à antena considerada, de forma que ambas produzam a mesma intensidade de campo ou a mesma densidade de fluxo de potência na mesma distância e na mesma direção. A menos que seja especificado de outra forma, o ganho refere-se à direção de máxima radiação.
